The Freebase Accordion links pages broadly collect links to sites that I'm interested in and want to be reminded to check in on occasionally, but I hope visitors to the site will find something to interest them here too. The links reflect my own tastes which, especially in poetry, veer towards the more experimental & (post-)modernist corners of the field. I also find it a useful shortcut to be able to refer people to my links page when pointing them towards an artist I like. I don't call the page "Experimental poetry, music and art links" for the same reason that most other pages of this nature don't call themselves "Non-experimental poetry, music and art links". I like to keep the page as focussed as possible on the things I want to return to myself, so, although I'm always happy to receive suggestions for new links, I often have to say No. It's nothing personal.
Please don't use the list of publishers and magazines as a checklist of places to bulk-submit your own work. You should always try to get a clear idea of the kind of work a publisher or magazine finds interesting before sending them anything, and in the case of print-based magazines and publishers, this means buying some of their publications. The print-based publishers linked to from this site are generally small-scale and low-budget, with a fairly well-defined taste in writing: most are essentially not in a position to consider unsolicited work.
I only link to the websites of print-based magazines if the website has significant online content.
Sites come and go, so there will inevitably be dead links. Do let me know about them, via the email address on the homepage.
